Project Type: Personal Branding & UX Introduction

Course: OpenClassrooms – UX Designer Path

Project Overview

This introductory project explored what it means to think like a UX designer and marked the beginning of my UX journey. It focused on understanding the UX design process, identifying my strengths as a designer, and reflecting on how my background could contribute to creating meaningful user experiences.

About Me

Hello! I'm Abigail Ziesmer, a UX Designer with a background in graphic design and visual communication.

Before transitioning into UX, I spent several years designing print and digital materials, creating marketing assets, and solving visual communication challenges. While I enjoyed creating visually engaging designs, I wanted to better understand the people behind those designs and learn how research and user-centered thinking could improve products and experiences.

Through the OpenClassrooms UX Designer Path, I've developed skills in user research, information architecture, usability testing, wireframing, prototyping, and data-informed design. My goal is to create intuitive, accessible, and meaningful digital experiences that solve real user problems.
